Matt: Black Friday is known for its frenzy and fun – how did you translate that energy into the slot’s visuals and sound design?
Craig Asling: We really want players to feel the madness of a real Black Friday rush from the moment they start spinning. The visuals are bright, dynamic and packed with movement. Shopping carts getting loaded up above the reels, sought-after tech items on the reels, and that feeling of pure, joyful chaos.
The soundtrack matches the pace perfectly, blending upbeat, energetic tunes with those familiar retail sounds. It all comes together to capture that wild, deal-hunting energy of the biggest shopping day of the year.
There’s a great sense of humour running through Black Friday Cart Carze – how important is playfulness to Booming Games’ identity?
Playfulness is absolutely core to who we are at Booming Games. We take game design seriously, but we also believe slots should be fun and full of personality. Black Friday Cart Craze really embodies that – it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s part of its charm.
The exaggerated characters, the cheeky animations, the “SOLD” symbol eliminations in Free Spins – it all adds a layer of humour and light-heartedness that makes players smile while they spin. That sense of fun and creativity is something we try to infuse into every title we release.

How did your team balance the chaos of Black Friday shopping with the need to keep gameplay smooth and rewarding?
That was one of the biggest design challenges. We wanted to capture the intensity of Black Friday, the rush, the excitement, without overwhelming players. The key was in pacing and structure.
The core gameplay feels energetic and fast, but the mechanics, like Cart Craze Cash Collect and Super Sale Free Spins, are designed to give players clear moments of reward and control. The animations and sound cues are timed carefully to keep things exciting but never confusing. It’s a fine balance between chaos and clarity, and our team nailed it.
Booming Games has a knack for creating visually distinct slots. What creative direction or inspiration shaped the art style of Black Friday Cart Craze?
For this game, we went for a bold, cartoonish style with a modern retail twist. We wanted it to look as lively and inviting as a bustling store during a mega sale – but with that fun, exaggerated Booming Games flair.
The characters were designed to feel a little crazy and manic – those over-the-top shoppers everyone’s seen during a Black Friday rush. The colours are bright and saturated, giving the game an energetic vibe that matches the theme perfectly. Every element, from the signage to the reel icons, was created to amplify that chaotic “shopping spree” feel.
What do you hope players will feel or take away after their first few spins on Black Friday Cart Craze?
Above all, we want players to feel engaged and entertained. This game is about embracing the chaos, having fun with the theme and enjoying those moments of surprise and big-win excitement.

We have fully embraced the festive season this year with a trio of holiday games – including Santa In Vegas, Polar Buffalo Hold and Win Extreme 25,000 and 64 Presents Hold and Win – as well as brand-new concepts launching early in 2026.
