The Respin: Lady Luck’s $62,500 Orb, Slot Hunters Break Bank

The holiday season has officially arrived, and Santa’s switched from delivering store-bought gifts to sending massive prizes through the airwaves. From Lady Luck’s $90,250 handpay to the Slot Hunters’ short but sweet full-screen bonus, our team has plenty of reasons to be grateful today.

Welcome to this week’s Thanksgiving-themed edition of The Respin, a weekly article series that compiles the most exciting moments posted by YouTube-famous influencers at popular casinos nationwide. In the interest of remaining balanced, we’re happy to show off their wins and losses.

Lady Luck deserves our first-place spot this week, especially given the size of her latest jackpot.

1. Lady Luck Thought Her Luck Ran Out…But Not Just Yet!

Lady Luck HQ and her loyal cameraman were occupying the high-limit room at The Venetian when fortune struck not once, but twice on the same night. After a quick fit check on behalf of Lady Luck, she took viewers back to the heart of the action as she played million-dollar Dragon Link.

She was betting $250 per spin when she unlocked a bonus round. Even though she didn’t earn the Mini, Major, or Grand; she got something even better – a bonus orb worth $62,500. In total, she took home $69,500. Lady attempted to repeat history on a slot called “Jewel of the Dragon.”

This time around, she worked her way up to betting $90, $150 and eventually $300 per spin. As luck would have it, she triggered another massive bonus round while landing the Major Jackpot. Three $1,000 Mini Bonuses, a $10,000 Major, and several heavy-hitting orbs won her $20,750.

2. Big Jackpot Indulges Slot Madness With $3,000 Bonus Buys

If you thought $300 spins were a tad outlandish, prepare for Raja’s latest antics. He and Vegas Matt’s quasi-famous son EJ were playing Wu Jin Pen in the high-limit room at Peppermill Casino. They decided to buy the bonus exclusively, costing The Big Jackpot $3,000 per wager.

Each bonus round came with free spins, a randomly assigned win multiplier and extra coins on the reels. Their first buy-a-bonus didn’t go so well, but they got back $1,850 from their second. Having tried their primary strategy with little success, they decided to play it for $37.50 per spin.

$4,500 came and went before The Big Jackpot and EJ finally unlocked a bonus with 25 games. They won $2,570 for their efforts, prompting them to spend $2,000 on another bonus. 13 spins later, they broke even with $2,096. A $2,500 bonus earned them 23 games and a 3x multiplier.

Again, they broke even with $2,535. Finally, they got the bonus they were looking for: Seven more free spins won the pair $5,580, ending the night with a $1,900 profit.

3. Vegas Matt Does the Impossible With Huff N’ Even More Puff

Speaking of EJ, no Respin would be complete without a quick update on the high-rolling lifestyle of Vegas Matt. First and foremost, he celebrated Thanksgiving the day before with $60 spins on Huff N’ Even More Puff. Matt turned $5,000 into just $132 before unlocking the Mansion feature.

For the uninitiated, getting a full screen of mansions on Huff N’ Even More Puff means big bucks are on the way. The Wolf huffed and puffed away eleven mansions, unlocking five Minor Bonus symbols and four Mini Bonuses.

Vegas Matt doesn’t get saved by the bell every time he’s down to the wire, but he won back $12,325 at the last possible second. That didn’t stop him from playing $5,000 worth of backup spins, but a final bonus round earned him another $3,237.50. He walked away with $10,000.

4. Pompsie & Greta Enjoy The Newest Version of Dragon Link

Pompsie and Greta were on the Vegas Strip when a brand-new version of Dragon Link caught their eye. They decided to test Phoenix Link for the first time with a $1,000 bankroll. He made $10 bets, and it didn’t take very long before he unlocked a bonus round with eight orbs filled in.

The pair won back $120, giving them $10 more than they started with. They cashed out $1,000 and moved onto Phoenix Link: General Tso, but they didn’t have much luck this time around. As they whittled their $1k bankroll ever-closer to zero, a $40 win convinced them to cash out $594.

Next up, they played Phoenix Link: Queen Chiu. Pompsie and Greta were left with $197 before they won back $1,420 from a massively profitable bonus. A final $470 win saw the pair cash out $1,965 to end their session.

5. Slot Hunters Demonstrate The Power of A Full-Screen Bonus

SlotsFan hasn’t shown love to Slot Hunters in a while, so it’s only fitting that we introduce the pair at their very best. Kent and Chasen were playing Piggy Bankin’ for $20/spin when the slot spit back a full-screen bonus. It took them 57 seconds to put a $920 bonus win on the board.

They started off with five spins as the animated piggy bank continued to grow in size. A piggy bank on the left side of the screen exploded, rewarding Kent and Chasen with the $500 Minor Jackpot. The piggy bank on the right side of the screen granted them $400 for a total of $920.

Although we wish there was more footage of the gameplay leading up to this epic jackpot, it’s amazing how much things can change in the blink of an eye when you’re playing at the casino.
