Sweeptastic

Sweeptastic is an approachable sweepstakes casino with more than 1,000 slots and table games to choose from. Compared to its competitors, Sweeptastic is one of the newer kids on the block having launched in 2023.

Since it is still shiny and new, there are some small bugs and quirks, but it’s impressive how buttoned-up Sweeptastic was straight out of the gate. Overall, Sweeptastic offers more than enough to warrant taking a spin or two, while still leaving room for improvement.

Our Experience @ Sweeptastic Casino

Sweeptastic is one of the newest players on the sweeps casino market but it’s a surprisingly competent product. The site offers over 1,000 games, including a huge selection of slots and table games like blackjack and baccarat.

The only thing that keeps it from ranking much higher? It’s lacking some of the biggest software developers for slots. It’s still so new that we have no doubt that Sweeptastic will be able to improve considerably over the coming years.

Sign up Process

Getting signed up for Sweeptastic is fast and requires the usual basics:

  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Full address
  • Phone number

At this point, you have the option to verify your identity and add your bank account for future redemptions. If not, you can bypass it and get to playing. Once you’re signed up and logged in, you’re given 17,777 Lucky Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins.

For experienced players, Lucky Coins are the same as Gold Coins in other casinos. If you’re a beginner, Lucky Coins are a currency for gameplay that has no monetary value. Sweeps Coins, on the other hand, are free with any purchase of Lucky Coins and can be redeemed for cash prizes.

Signing up also unlocks two generous welcome offers. For $9.99, you’ll receive LC 20,000 and SC 20 and $29.94 gets you LC 45,000 and SC 45.

Ease of Use

Sweeptastic is no different from any other social or sweeps casino in its website design. Everything in the navigation menu is intuitively named, so you’ll get where you want to go fast. Some of the menu items include “Games,” “Get Coins,” and “How It Works.”

Speaking of how it works, Sweeptastic makes help, support, and general information about the site easy to access, no matter what page you’re on. This is an area where many of Sweeptastic’s counterparts fall well short, but answers and resolutions are literally just one click away.

My list of complaints about Sweeptastic is short. It could benefit from a user experience analysis to shorten some of the navigation paths. Some unnecessary clicks could be eliminated. The only thing that truly annoyed me was the transition after closing a game.

When you hit the X in the top right corner, Sweeptastic takes you back to the “Explore” game menu. With 1,000-plus games, it would be far more convenient for the site to take you right back to where you were. Instead, getting back to where you were might require two clicks and a lot of scrolling and searching.

In the grand scheme of the Sweeptastic experience, however, these are minor issues with easy fixes. For such a young sweeps casino, it’s impressive that these were the only real functionality speedbumps I experienced.

Buying LC and SC

Turning cash into coins is a smooth and easy process on Sweeptastic. Click “Get Coins” from the sidebar navigation, pick your package, choose a form of payment, and that’s it. There are eight different coin packages to choose from. The lowest price for any free SC is $9.99, but if you’re just looking to play for fun, 1,000 Lucky Coins (LC) can be had for $0.99.

For high rollers, Sweeptastic is one of the few social casinos I’ve come across that offers coin packages of $100 or greater. The packages on that end of the spectrum run from $249.90 to $999.99. Those who prefer more modest costs, there are a few options. The next tiers after $9.99 are $29.99, $49.90, and $99.90. This begs the question — why no $19.99 option?

Payments can be made in three ways:

  • Visa, Mastercard, AMEX
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Instant Bank Transfer

Sweeptastic also offers support for buying Lucky Coins with Bitcoin in some jurisdictions, but your mileage may vary.

Slots Available

Sweeptastic’s gigantic library of games might lead you to believe every software development company is represented, but there are only six:

  • Betsoft
  • Booming Games
  • Belatra
  • BGaming
  • Gameart
  • 1spin4win

If you’re not terribly familiar with online slots developers, some of the biggest names in the industry are absent from that list. As I’ve established, Sweeptastic is new, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hope some of the bigger developing houses eventually come on board. The “All Games” page is a monster, and it’ll take some scrolling to get through. Such a large selection of games comes with a variety of themes, too. The traditional fruit symbol games are plentiful, as are those with Asian, underwater, and animal themes. For something a bit different, check out Barnyard Twister by Booming Games with its tornado theme. Land three tornadoes in any one spin and the whole board will twist and turn into a win.

Of all the games you will find on Sweeptastic, there’s a noticeable lack of jackpot slots. In fact, only five slots offer them with Pirate Jackpot leading the pack at a max win of 2500x.

Other Casino Style Games Available

Sweeptastic just might have the best selection of fun non-slots games. Their selection of 32 table games includes 13 roulette, nine blackjack, seven poker, and two baccarat options. There are also dice games, bingo, and keno available. Here are three that caught my attention:

Plinko – I’m almost ashamed of how excited I was when I learned Sweeptastic had this game. If you grew up on The Price is Right, you know how fun Plinko can be. It’s extremely simple — drop a ball from the top of a pyramid and watch it hit the pegs all the way down to various buckets with different values on them.

Triple Cash or Crash – Those of us who wanted to work at NASA when we grew up will appreciate this one. Place bets on each of three astronauts during the takeoff countdown for the next launch. When the countdown hits 0, the rocket blasts off. As the rocket flies higher and higher, the win multiplier does, too. In order to win, however, you have to press the eject button and launch the crew to safety before the rocket explodes. If you can successfully abort the mission and get the astronauts out of the ship in time, the multiplier you eject at is applied to each bet. It’s a classic risk/reward scenario.

Blackjack Side Bets – Throw out the house advantage with some Blackjack in this classic game with a little extra thrown in. It plays like traditional Blackjack where you’re trying to beat the dealer by getting as close to 21 without going over. In Blackjack Side Bets, however, you can place up to two more bets after you buy into a game.

The Casino App (Mobile)

Since Sweeptastic is still so young, it doesn’t have a mobile app yet. However, the web version of Sweeptastic is responsive and plays well in your favorite phone browser.

Mobile vs Desktop experience

The site you play on for either device is exactly the same with no noticeable changes between the two.

Support

Sweeptastic’s help center is full of categorized FAQs to help you find a resolution to any problem you may have as quickly as possible. However, the FAQ lists aren’t terribly comprehensive, and currently, there’s no live chat function. If you need one-on-one help from a real person, the only option is email.

Beefing up the available FAQs could go a long way toward improving customer support, but live chat support should be a given. Unfortunately, not providing live assistance is pretty standard among online casinos.

Redeeming Sweeps Coins for Prizes

The first time you redeem your SC for cash, you’ll have to verify your identity if you haven’t already done so. As I mentioned, the option to get this out of the way is presented on the signup form, so you wouldn’t need to go through the process again if you took care of it then. Verification is done using a driver’s license or passport, which you’ll have to upload photos of for Sweeptastic to review. Once you’re verified, you’ll connect your bank account to your Sweeptastic account. Redemption can only be executed if you have at least SC 100, and once it’s processed, it can take 1-3 business days for it to appear in your bank account.

Sadly, there are no gift cards available for redemption. Many competing sweeps casinos offer gift card redemptions for as little as SC10. That SC 100 redemption minimum is a large obstacle in some cases.

Final Thoughts

Are there better online casinos out there? Absolutely, but Sweeptastic shows a lot of promise. The website and gameplay run surprisingly well for being such a young casino. If you’ve played any of its competitors, you probably know how wonky and unreliable some sites can be. I found Sweeptastic to be much more stable and smooth than some casinos that have been around for a while.

If there were any improvements I could suggest, I’d love to see more software developers represented and more efficient navigation. Bulking up the FAQ section would also be a welcome upgrade.

It’s hard not to give Sweeptastic a stamp of approval. It has a ways to go before it merits two thumbs up, but there’s every reason to believe Sweeptastic can be a major contender in the online casino space sooner rather than later.
