Every streamer’s journey looks a little different. For Internet Skater (aka Brandon White), his rapid rise in the slots world shows that this YouTuber is not afraid to take big risks.

And clearly it’s working – Internet Skater now has 88.7K subscribers, which places him just below OldSchoolSlots at 49th place on our list of YouTube streamer rankings. In the last 30 days alone, his channel has gained 15K new subscribers and more than 6.7 million views.

Our SlotsFan podcast host Matt sat down with Internet Skater and asked the streamer all about his exciting origins. He shared how he slept in his car while doing DoorDash, how he once lost $2,400 in one night, and much more!

To hear more of Brandon’s stories – and to take a look at his “King of the Cash Machine” tattoo – tune in to the full interview available on our YouTube channel.

Here are just some of the things Internet Skater shared during our interview:

How it all started:

“I had maybe $150 in my bank account. I was going to do DoorDash either way for the week and I figured what if I just live stream the whole thing? I decided that I was going to just go to Vegas and I was going to sleep in the car and I was going to live stream it and I was going to make it work.

That first video got like 10,000 views, so I was like, “Hold on, I might be on to something.”

On his friendships with other slots streamers:

“That friendship and Bluff just reaching out totally changed the trajectory of my life and the channel.

I didn’t even fully realize it until I had you know kept making content how lucky I was to be picked by this group of people. Really, just Bluff watching my videos and, um, it kind of put me on the other side of the room that I needed to to grow, you know?”

Why he prefers YouTube over other social media channels:

“I think that it brings people a little bit closer on YouTube. You know, the community, I talk to them and we do comments and they comment every day and they watch us every day, and we can tell them a lot more about what we’ve been doing and stuff like that.

His advice for new content creators:

“If you’re watching this and you’re a small creator or you want to get into the space and you don’t have that much money,  your biggest thing is to just come up with a great idea and just kind of go for it.

If you’re doing short form right now and you want to do YouTube, just start working on it because for any niche or anything that you do on YouTube, it’s very slim that it’s going to pick up very fast. You’re going to be spitballing the wall for days and months, and some people years. But a lot of people that stick it out and they keep spitballing, they learn and then your presence on camera gets better.”

On his collaboration with SpinQuest social casino:

“I think SpinQuest stands alone from a lot of other companies because it is just a core group of people who really value community… It’s less of a social casino and more of, like, a community platform because just the way that it’s promoted, in the way that we do philanthropy and stuff like that. So very happy to be a part of the team. Everyone on the team gets along and, you know, we have dinners and we’re all friends outside of the camera.”

What he has planned for the future:

“I hope more travel videos, more travel series and just visiting more casinos around the country.

We just filmed this video called “Gambling to Survive in the Forest.” I hope that it translates well. Either way, I know my core audience is going to be, like, super stoked that we were dedicated to the bit as much as we were!”
