It takes a lot to stand out in the online social casino landscape, and platforms are finding unique ways to appeal to players. Horseplay Casino is on the right track (pun intended) by combining horse racing with online slot games.
When you play the games on Horseplay’s site, the outcome is determined by the results of real horse races instead of the standard random number generator (RNG) at most casinos. It’s an interesting concept designed to appeal to those who like the fast-paced action of horse racing, but prefer the free-to-play option of sweepstakes casinos over real-money gambling.
But that’s not the only thing that makes this platform stand out. Horseplay is also active when it comes to its social media presence, working with popular streaming influencers like Mr. Handpay, Jackpot Judo, Low Budget High Limit Slots and NJ Slot Guy, to name just a few. Their Instagram channel has hundreds of posts filled with everything from slots reviews to prank videos featuring top streamers.
Horseplay also livestreams exciting activations so players and fans can interact with their favorite influencers in real time. From September 24-26, they produced Live on the Casino Floor where eight different Youtubers streamed their gameplay directly from Foxwoods Casino over a three-day weekend.
Streamers included DaybyDayDesiree, Mr. Handplay and others, who were each given one hour to play games and connect with viewers in real time. Members of the Horseplay team put themselves in the hot seat with an “Ask Me Anything” that ran all weekend long. To sweeten the deal for viewers, Horseplay also gave away prizes of merchandise to one lucky commenter in each livestream.
By all accounts, the event was a hit with thousands of viewers tuning in to Youtube that weekend. The Bearded Gambler’s stream was most popular with over 2,000 views, but Johnny Slots was close behind with 1,800. The livestreams are still available on Horseplay’s channel if you weren’t able to catch them live, like this one from The Bearded Gambler.
Horseplay also posted a recap of the event on their Instagram page, which you can check out here. This isn’t Horseplay’s first influencer event, and we’re sure it won’t be the last. Check out their social media channels for past livestreams, collab drops, and more.
With events like these as well as Horseplay’s unique approach to combining online games with horse racing results, we’re excited to see what else is in store for this social casino.
