The Respin: Lady Luck Howls for Wolf Run, Ruby Slots Takes it to the Max

Lady Luck plays a game she’s avoided for years and reaps the rewards, Ruby Slots lets loose at the casino with max bets, Greta chases six-figure prizes with $5,000 in the high-limit room, Slot Hopper takes a trip back in time, and SC Slots (unintentionally) helps pay for the Grand Jackpot.

Las Vegas seems to be in a giving mood as the holiday season inches closer, and that translates to some seriously exciting YouTube uploads. Our squad took home tens of thousands of dollars this week, but one unlucky influencer discovered that jackpots aren’t necessarily fair.

Welcome to The Respin, a weekly article series that explores the most interesting moments at popular casinos nationwide. Our team scours the Internet to view footage of massive handpays, highlight new game releases, and call attention to upcoming influencers that post great content.

Lady Luck HQ’s unprecedented jackpot handpay is first on our list this week, so let’s get started!

1. Lady Luck Rekindles An Old Flame For Massive Slot Rewards

Lady Luck warmed up on a bunch of high-limit machines at the Venetian in Las Vegas before an old flame caught her eye at the 22-minute mark of this video. She and hubby were just walking around when they saw “Bombay.” They poked around to play “Wolf Run” on the same machine.

She’d avoided this slot for years after not receiving any payouts, but her $5,000 Hail Mary cash voucher turned the tables in her favor. A nearly immediate line hit worth $890 foreshadowed the profitability of her first bonus round, which came with five free spins and a jackpot worth $3,140.

Her next $80 spin resulted in a $2,410 line hit, taking her profits well past the $5,000 she started with. Just a minute or two later, another lucky spin put $2,940 in her pocket. She had $13,000 at one point, but she cashed out with a respectable $11,023 left over.

2. Ruby Slots Switches Up Her Usual Antics With Max Bet Spins

Ruby Slots is better known for low-stakes spins than max betting, but she catered to the high rollers in her audience this week after playing “Island Rising.” This brand-new, Tiki-themed title inspired Ruby to wager up to $8 per spin as she slowly raised her bet amount over 20 minutes.

She started off with a $100 bankroll as she cycled through all the available bet sizes, starting at $1.60 per spin before bumping up to $2.40, $4.00, and eventually $8.00 per spin. Her reasoning was simple. She wanted to try her luck at every denomination instead of sticking to one bet size.

She won $231 from a bonus round whilst betting $8 per spin, but she didn’t see this as a super valuable return given how much she’d spent already. At the end of her session, she was up $46.

3. Pompsie Slots Shows Out With $5,000 In the High-Limit Room

Pompsie Slots knows that his audience loves Greta just as much as (if not more than) him, and he’s responding in the best way possible: switching roles to become the camera man for a day.

Greta took center stage this week as she chased down a $102,863 Grand prize on Dragon Link: Golden Century. She and Pompsie flexed their YouTube earnings with $5,000 in cold hard cash.

Greta loaded a $1,000 voucher in the machine and began betting $50 per spin, bemoaning their tendency to just miss the Grand Jackpot on “Hold & Win” titles. Soon afterwards, she triggered six free games. The couple pocketed $510 as a result, but their money disappeared regardless.

Her second $1,000 came and went, but her third try at the Grand gave her back $900 during a bonus round. While they were still down $2,100, their luck was about to change. Another bonus credited them with $1,850, at which point they decided to move onto Dragon Link: Panda Magic.

This became the game of the night with a $3,460 bonus win, putting them more or less where they started.

4. Slot Hopper Sacrifices All Her “Boot Money” on A Single Game

Slot Hopper’s unmistakably down-south personality shined through her latest upload, where she spent all her “boot money” on three-reel machines. If you’re not familiar with the term, this might explain: she took $400 from the side of her flashy, winged cowgirl boot to play Blazing Wild 777.

Aside from absolutely killing her outfit in the casino, Slot Hopper placed spins ranging from $18 to $45 on a one-dollar denomination. Once her first $400 disappeared, she added another cash voucher worth $1,555.55. Unfortunately, that high-limit betting didn’t work in Slot Hopper’s favor.

She was lucky enough to win back $900 at the end of her session, which she viewed as a sign to wrap things up. Placing a number of backup bets on Frontier Fortunes won her another $600.

5. SC Slots Doesn’t Get The Grand Prize, But He Helps Pay For It

If you’ve ever watched that random guy sit down at the slot you just lost money on, win $500 in a few minutes, and go straight home; you might understand SC Slots’ self-reported nausea after he inadvertently helped someone else win a Grand Jackpot prize on the slot he just abandoned.

He recorded as a woman pocketed $88,888.88 from Dragon Link. She collected 15 orbs during a “Hold & Win” bonus game, unlocking the Grand Jackpot (and a whole lot of buyer’s remorse for SC Slots). Unfortunately, they didn’t include any footage of themselves playing Dragon Link.

Despite SC Slots’ disappointing loss at Harrah’s Casino, he’s learning when to pack things up.
