The Win Zone Casino is no more, announces closure

The online sweeps casino industry is always changing, with sites launching and closing every month. The Win Zone is the latest social casino to close its online doors, effective as of September 24, 2026.

The casino made the announcement on their website, although there was no clear reason given for the shutdown. The Win Zone is operated by Playstudios LLC, maker of the popular POP! Slots as well as a number of other casino games.

After September 24, players could no longer access gameplay on the site, make coin purchases or claim promotional bonuses. However, there’s still time to collect your Sweeps Coins if you have an outstanding balance with the casino.

Players have until October 23 at 11:59pm PST to request a redemption. After that, requests can’t be submitted and all balances will be forfeited. Anyone with more than 1 SC in their account can request a redemption, without any playthrough requirements. Head to Win Zone’s redemption page if you have Sweeps Coins to redeem.

We work fast at SlotsFan to reflect any changes in the sweeps casino industry. Our comprehensive database of sweepstakes casinos features more than 280 places to play, and we update it regularly to ensure that it remains a useful tool for our readers. With the Win Zone’s closure, their name will be removed from our list of casinos.

If you were a regular player at the Win Zone and are looking for a new place to play online, don’t worry! There are still hundreds of reputable sweeps casinos to choose from. If you’re not sure where to start, take a look at our database. We’ve written hundreds of reviews to help you decide where to play casino-style games.

We recommend starting with the top three picks on our list, which are Spree, Crown Coins, and MegaBonanza. The top spots on our list change every month, but these casinos consistently rank highly when it comes to games, bonuses, and payment options.
