Streamer Bio

Texan Candy never built her YouTube presence around slots, jackpots, or anything of the sort. While she occasionally hits the casino for a night on the town, scratch cards are her favorites. 

Her oldest video, which recorded her winning $50 on a $5 Merry Money ticket, was posted in November 2014. She got 2.6k views off the bat, and her popularity began climbing from there. She experienced a significant lull as she headed into January of 2015, but her channel started gaining serious traction a few years later in 2018. By the middle of April, she was getting 20k – 25k views per upload on a consistent basis before she broke the Internet on June 28th, 2018. 

Her showdown video against ARPlatinum and the now-retired MBS earned a staggering 1.2+ million views. 

She broke the six-figure views mark a handful of times afterwards, and her second most popular video was posted on June 18th, 2022. In celebration of her 37th birthday, she purchased $1,500 worth of scratch-offs. Although she lost money on $20 Million Supreme, she gained 161k views. 

Fast-forwarding to 2024, Texan Candy is plugging away at her channel and averaging between 3k – 5k views per video. She’s come a long way in ten short years, and she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Most Popular Video: I BOUGHT EVERY LOTTERY TICKET IN THE MACHINE!!!! vs ARPLATINUM & MBS

Texan Candy bought every lottery ticket in the machine for her most popular video, which was uploaded to YouTube in June 2018. In addition to winning a few bucks, she earned 1.2M+ views at the time of writing. Candy recorded a $100 scratch-off showdown with ARPlatinum and MBS. 

Millionaire Book Scratcher (MBS) has since retired, but ARPlatinum is actively posting content. 

Getting back on track, Texan Candy jumped right in with a one-dollar 5x The Cash ticket. After losing, she tried Blackjack and won $1. However, she lost a chance to win $1,000/week for 20 years. Fast-forwarding to the end of her 30-minute scratch-off video, she “won” a total of $124. 

As she states in her video, she actually ended up losing nearly $125 from her $250 purchase. Such is the nature of gambling. Super Loteria, $100,000 Bing-O-Rama, and Mega Loteria were her biggest winners. All three influencers have had several re-matches in the past five years!

Candy does scratch-offs and slots equally well, but slots have been her biggest money-maker.

Schedule: New Videos 

Texan Candy doesn’t adhere to a strict posting schedule, but she tends to upload new content once every three or four days. She usually posts between 9 AM and 3 PM (EST) if you want to be the first to see her latest videos. However, she last hosted a live-stream on Oct. 30th, 2021. 

She also updates her Facebook whenever she posts new content on YouTube, but she only has 263 Instagram followers at the time of writing – in addition to adorable “thank you” posts and still shots from her videos, she posts plenty of selfies. Her last Instagram post was on Thanksgiving. 

Community and Giveaways 

Texan Candy’s community is largely limited to Facebook and YouTube, where she has a total of 43,000+ followers and subscribers. After taking a peek through her YouTube “Community” page, we saw that she hosted a handful of scratch card giveaways for her fanbase in 2021 and 2022. 

However, she hasn’t announced any upcoming plans for another giveaway or meet-and-greet.

Texan Candy is one of the only influencers who’s been able to build a successful platform while keeping the slots to a minimum. Since 2014, she’s scratched off well over 100k+ tickets for her fans – she’s earned 40k YouTube subscribers with 3,997 published videos at the time of writing. 

She’s also raked in more than 12 million views from passerby, subscribers, and (paid) channel members. Playing scratch cards never turned out to be a fruitful endeavor for our team, but she works her magic with every purchase. Who knows? She might have a personal genie in a bottle.

In all seriousness, she’s enjoyed lottery luck that few players ever come across. She also offers a refreshing change of pace for those who aren’t exclusively interested in seeing the reels spin.

  • Texan Candy has nothing short of a Rapunzel-style haircut: as she’s proudly proven in the YouTube “Community” section of her channel multiple times, she wears her flowing brown hair down to her shins.
  • Texan Candy has an adorable grey tabby named Pepe. Thanksgiving was the last time they were photographed together, but Pepe is thriving while he sunbathes in the Texas heat. He was also photographed for Valentine’s Day 2023, so stay tuned for more pics! 
  • When Texan Candy films content, she goes all-out for the views and her own personal satisfaction. She routinely buys every lottery ticket in the machine, often spending more than $1,000 at a time. Last year, she also bought a full book of $100 scratch-off tickets.
  • Texan Candy last posted a slots video in April 2019, where she recorded her gambling adventures at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. She spent $100 per spin on Reel ‘Em In: Catch the Big One II and fed the slot $10,000 before going home broke.
  • Texan Candy encourages her fans to connect with her on Facebook, where she actively replies to comments and posts regular updates/questionnaires that solicit fan feedback. She also lists her PO Box on YouTube, where you can send more personalized letters.
