Spree is available in most of the US but not the following states:

Just signing up for Spree Casino earned me a whopper 1 million Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins. That’s a nice no deposit casino bonus!

Gold Coins have no inherent value so getting one million doesn’t really matter but getting 2.5 in SC (which are potentially redeemable for cash) is on the generous side of things.

Once you’ve been verified you’ll also qualify for their daily log-in bonus of .40. I appreciated that Spree doesn’t hide its log-in bonus. You’ll find it front and center on the left side bar. See below:

You can also refer friends to Spree Casino to earn some extra sweeps coins. You’ll receive 10 free SC for every friend that you refer after they buy a coin bundle of $15 or more. It’s really not bad considering some competing sites required your referred friend to buy at least $100 of coins.

In terms of promotions and bonuses that’s pretty much it for Spree Casino. The site does occasionally offer some deals on the events page but there are no ongoing social media competitions or VIP program.

The lack of a complicated rewards program is a blessing and a curse but I personally appreciated the straightforward approach to rewards. The site was generous enough and everything felt easy to unlock.

Coin Package Assessment

When I bought coins for the first time on Spree Casino I was presented with two distinct first purchase offers:

It’s worth noting here that you can only pick one of the welcome offers. I personally found it impossible to ignore the massively increased amount of extra coins on the $9.99 deal, although technically you do get more free SC with the bigger $24.99 package.

Once I purchased my bundle I was relieved to see a 2nd time depositor welcome back that offered 40,000 + 40 SC for $19.99. Not quite as good as the $24.99 but close enough.

The standard coin store is what you’d expect from a sweeps casino. You’re technically paying for Gold Coins but they throw in an amount of SC coins that’s equivalent to $1 = 1 SC. Once you have enough SC you can redeem it for cash prizes.

You’ll notice on the Spree Casino store that you get a slight bonus for buying the bigger bundles but it’s only a few SC on the biggest bundles.

You won’t find a lot of interesting options for buying coins on Spree Casino.

You have the regular Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards options, but that’s the extent of it.

Spree offers no support for Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, CashApp or any other payment processor. I will say the site accepted my Visa card with no problems and buying coins took less than 30 seconds on the site (once I was verified).

For redemptions you’ve got a couple different options. You can use bank accounts for cash redemptions or email for gift card redemptions.

Real money redemptions require at least 100 SC, which is on the high side but quite common sweeps casinos. It took a little longer than I expected to make a cash redemption on Spree casino. I was waiting five days before the money hit my bank account (but that did include a weekend). I conferred with some of my colleagues and that seemed around average.

Spree offers an exceptional selection of slots with more than 1,000 different options for all kinds of different players.

The site features games from over twenty different software providers, including Pragmatic, Relax, Hacksaw, Slotmill, Evoplay, and Fantasma. There are very few slot makers not represented on the site. Perhaps the only ones I saw missing were NetEnt and Playtech, which, to be fair, do have some classics.

There’s more than enough to keep you busy on Spree, however. I enjoyed my go-to games like Gates of Olympus and Sugar Rush but there were also some new games I liked on Spree.

I played around with the new Snoop’s High Rollers Game but the one I really liked was Emberfall. Emberfall features a cascading playboard with plenty of video game-inspired elements. It was fast and fun.

One unique aspect of the play experience is the addition of avatars. You can choose from tons of different avatars to customize your playing experience. There are premium avatars that you unlock by buying coin bundles and exclusive avatars that you unlock by winning slot tournaments.

Avatars don’t affect the actual game play at Spree.com at all but it’s nice to see social casinos go out of their way to add extras. It would be cool to see even more exclusive Avatars included for completing tasks on the site (such as logging in every day for a week).

Despite having over 1,000 titles in its game library, navigation is pretty straightforward on Spree.

The very top nav bar includes a search function (which is the ultimate feature for finding specific casino games) as well as a number of different tags including everything from game studios to Irish-luck themed games. It’s surprisingly useful.

You can just scroll down to see a more visual representation of the games on the site starting with a “For You” section that includes your most recently played games and favorites (I like that they combined them here).

You’ll then scroll down to a variety of different categories including Top 10, Popular, Brand New, Exclusive, Hold & Win, Real Dealers and many others.

Now is a good time to mention that Spree doesn’t have a ton of casino style games (other than slots) but it does feature a small selection of live dealer games including blackjack, baccarat and roulette. It also features slingo. That’s pretty much the extent of their alternate games, however.

Spree Casino only offers a TrustScore of 3.2 stars out of 5 across just under 500 reviews.

This is one of the rare occasions where I found myself disagreeing with the TrustScore and would personally rate the site higher but perhaps Spree has made significant updates to its platforms recently.

For their part Spree has claimed their profile on TrustScore and responded to 99% of negative complaints.

Many of the negative comments were regarding the verification and redemption process. Unfortunately, many of the reviews didn’t seem to understand that all sweeps casinos must use KYC to combat underage gambling.

The positive reviews on TrustPilot often mentioned the fast and efficient customer support, often mentioning support representatives by name.

Reddit Analysis

We analyzed over 80 different posts on Reddit that mentioned Spree Casino to get a feel for what people are saying about the site.

In general many of the threads mirrored what was on TrustPilot: issues with verifications and redemptions (those tend to be pain points for slots players). I also saw a few issues regarding error codes on certain games but those were less frequent. On the other hand people loved the large selection of slots. The support staff was generally viewed favorably as well.

Over the years players have tended to prefer no-download options. Browser-based software has gotten so good for slots that there’s very little reason to go through the effort of creating a standalone app.

You’ll find all the same security features on Spree Casino that are used on all the major sweeps casinos.

I have to knock Spree Casino somewhat for it’s responsible gaming policy. First off, it’s good they have a policy. But most casinos offer a simple self-exclusion function you can activate with a button. Spree requires an email. Once there you have access to two different self expulsion options:

1) “Take a Break” this is where you would like to take a break from our Services but do not wish to permanently close your account. Your account will be closed for a set period of time. We currently offer “Take a Break” for a period of seven (7), fourteen (14) or thirty (30) days.

One other knock against Spree Casino is that it’s still very new to the scene. We’ll be reporting back on this site as we continue to play it over the years.

Customer Support Experience

I had a very positive experience with the support team at Spree Casino.

They offer email, FAQ, live chat and phone support (for payment issues only).

My preferred channel is live chat and their client worked brilliantly. I contacted them twice and both times they responded in under a minute. The quality of the response was very good as well. The agent helped with an issue I was having with a promotion in less than five minutes.

I’m not sure if Spree Casino intentionally upgraded their support staff (some of the early reviews were less than ideal) but I can’t think of much more I’d want from the system.

Spree also has a fairly comprehensive FAQ that tackles a large variety of topics including promotions, mail-in envelopes, payment issues, verification and more.

Perhaps the one downside of Spree Casino support? They have very little presence on social media. Spree Casino currently only has an account on X.com that posts fairly infrequently. It would be great to see Facebook and Instagram added to the list.

Final Verdict:

As you’ve likely figured out by this point, I had a very good time on Spree. The site is fairly new but it has a very polished feel to it. It’s particularly impressive considering it’s a standalone offering that’s not connected to any of the other major social casino platforms.

So what’s so good about Spree? Here’s the TLDR:

• Spree offers one of the best selections of slots available
• The promotions are in the upper echelon of the industry
• It also features some of the fastest and most effective customer support I’ve experienced

Just those three factors play heavily into my enjoyment of online casinos and so it stands to reason that Spree was going to get high marks.

Of course nothing is perfect. Spree is still pretty new so it will be interesting to see if it can continue to improve as it goes. It’s also only available in 40 US states (no Canada). Finally the daily coins bonus is good but not spectacular.

Spree could go from good to great if it continues to improve as time goes on.
