Our Experience @ WOW Vegas Casino

WOW Vegas is a sweepstakes casino available to players in both the United States  and Canada except in Washington, Nevada, Idaho, and the province of Québec. WOW Vegas and other social casinos are growing exponentially, as more and more people decide to get in on the fun. They have  casino-style games that are completely free to play.

WOW Vegas got us playing  fast out of the gate. On sign-up we got 5,000 Wow Coins just for creating an account and confirming our email address, and collected Sweepstakes Coin. We love that there are over 330 games to choose from, there’s certainly no shortage of games to play at WOW Vegas.

Sign Up Process

Signing up for an account with WOW Vegas is easy.

The sign-up page asked to pick a username, enter an email address, and enter a date of birth. We then clicked to confirm the checkbox to say that we are at least 18 years of age and we opted to receive promotional emails in our inbox.

It’s incredible how fast we started playing. As fast as we were able to come up with login credentials and enter our email address, we were playing games and having fun. The whole process took 30 seconds.

One thing that should be noted is that in order to unlock our account fully (giving us more options for deposits and redemptions), we needed to proceed with identity verification. It’s what allowed us to buy coins. We needed to provide:

• Home address
• State
• ZIP Code
• Country
• Gender

Ease-Of-Use

WOW Vegas is super easy to use. The filters at the top of the homepage organize the games in six different ways: Lobby, Popular Games, New Games, Classic Slots, Megaways, and All Games.

The lobby splits up all of the other categories using a carousel. The thumbnails for each game are very appealing. That made us go with whatever caught our eyes right away. We then clicked a little heart in the top right corner of every thumbnail to add specific games to our own list of favorites.

Some of those favorites just might be the games in the Popular Games section. Whenever we decided we wanted to look for something fresh outside of the most popular slot games, the New Games section gave us a glimpse of whatever is just being introduced at WOW Vegas.

WOW Vegas offers a dedicated section across the top left for Classic Slots. We also played the Megaways. Variety of games to spice up the randomness of the gameplay.

Overall, navigating around WOW Vegas and browsing the different games feels simple and intuitive.

Buying WC & Free Sweepstakes Coins

Buying coins at WOW Vegas is easy too. There is a small orange header across the top of every screen that says Buy Coins. Clicking that took us to the coin store, where we were able to choose between the different package options.

Then we simply click on the number of coins we wanted to buy. Keep in mind that we started with free coins so there was no purchase necessary for us to get started.

Using coins is really easy. The number of coins we had at our disposal at any given time was displayed in the top right corner of every page inside of a button that features a poker chip with a WOW logo on it.

Coin purchase are processed instantly, and any free Sweepstakes Coins we received appeared in the account immediately.

We decided to buy more coins and discovered that we could use over 3,000 different banks through WOW’s preferred third-party payment provider called Trustly. Major credit cards accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Apple Pay.

We checked if it was possible to use an online wallet and it turns out WOW Vegas also accepts Skrill.

Slots Available

There aren’t too many social casinos out there that offer the 329+ different games. WOW Vegas does. Even better, the games come from some of the top software designers that work with both social casinos and traditional real money casinos, including Pragmatic Play, Fantasma Games, Ruby Play, BetSoft, Rogue and more.

One game we really liked included Wild West Duels. Just think about it. Tumbleweeds blowing in the wind. Old-style saloons in the background. Laid-back Western music to get us in the mood for some relaxation and fun.

Wild West Duels offers it all. The graphics are cool and cartoon like. One of the images is even a wanted poster which reminded us of those classic Western movie, and as usual, it’s really easy to sit there and spin and enjoy the challenge of trying to win some more coins.

It made us feel like we were pulling off a bank heist. The background music is a little bit quirky, but it does make us feel like we’re hiding out waiting for the right opportunity to open the bank vault.

Next to the autoplay button, we saw a ticking time bomb that counts down to zero with every click. When we were lucky enough, the timebomb detonated for us and acted as a wildcard leading to bigger wins and more coins making their way into our moneybags.

Slots are definitely the focus at WOW Vegas, with an incredible depth of features from Megaways to jackpots. However, we were a bit disappointed with the lack of table games like blackjack and roulette. 

Other Casino-Style Games Available

Most other social casinos have at least some traditional table games that are not slots. Unfortunately, the site doesn’t offer anything other than the 300+ slots. No blackjack, no poker, no roulette, nothing else.

For the most part, We are really into social casino so not having table games didn’t deter us from trying our luck at WOW Vegas. It’s clearly an up-and-coming platform trying to win us over.

Relative to its competitors, WOW Vegas offers considerably more slot machine options. We’ve reviewed some other sites that might offer more traditional table games, yet they offer fewer than 100 slots for example.

With WOW Vegas, there is clearly some give-and-take when it comes to variety, but if for hard-core slots players like us, we love it.

The Casino App

Whether or not we can download a mobile app for a given social casino is hit and miss. Some offer it, and some don’t. Casinos that offer mobile apps will typically offer them for both iOS and Android, meaning we were able to download them from the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store.

In the case of WOW Vegas, there is no mobile app. The good news is the website itself works perfectly on a phone. In fact, it will adjust the screen to fit whatever device is being used whether that is a laptop, tablet, iPhone, or Android phone to play.

When playing on a laptop, we can see seven games and one row. On our mobile device, we saw at least four games and one row. That gave us enough room to judge a book by its cover and decide on the games we liked and didn’t like. We were able to see all the titles and read them while easily thumbing our way through many, many rows of the over 300 games featured at WOW Vegas.

Mobile vs Desktop Experience

Overall, the mobile experience is fun, but on balance we prefer playing on the desktop.

Although the mobile site is well designed and does a good job of presenting WOW Vegas’ massive menu of games on the small screen, it does feel more attractive on a laptop. The graphics across the board are great, and they deserve to be seen on as high a resolution screen as possible.

Whenever we want to play for long periods of time, it goes without saying that it’s easier on a laptop or computer at a desk. That way we had the opportunity to put on headphones and tune out the world while enjoying an adventure in a faraway slot-friendly land.

We ended up playing for a long period of time and naturally it was easier to use a mouse in her hand rather than thumbing through games with our fingers.

Still, we found mobile play to be a great option when we were on the move.

Support

While we love getting instant feedback, we can’t hold it against him for not doing so because most social casinos don’t provide that. The good news is when we did go out of our way to contact customer support, they got back to us within a few hours via email.

In trying to contact them, we asked about states or provinces that might be excluded from being able to play at WOW Vegas. They answered us within 60 minutes with a detailed response that addressed the exact question asked.

The reply was written with enthusiasm and welcomed any further questions. Even though many other sites offer the opportunity to contact support via live chat, many live chat customer service agents on the other end answer us with templated answers that sound like they come from a knowledge base or frequently asked questions section of the website.

At WOW Vegas, We felt like we were talking to a real person who speaks fluent English and understands the platform inside and out. This meant to us that we could trust the website to be its own expert. We were able to get the help we needed and focus on playing games rather than answering our own burning questions.

Ultimately, it results in more energy for enjoying the games we wanted to play and less time spent wondering what we can do or whether or not we could play at WOW Vegas.

Redeeming Sweepstake Coins (SC)

Getting your SC converted for cash prizes is fairly simple, but with a few steps we became aware of. To request a redemption, we clicked the blue “Redeem Coins” button in the main menu.

First up, we realized that we can only redeem SC we won or used to play the games. It’s not possible to redeem the coins we collected right away. In addition, we needed to have at least 100 SC in our account before making a redemption.

What we really liked is that we can choose how to receive our cash prize, with WOW Vegas allowing both Skrill and Online Banking. Our first redemption, took 4 or 5 business days to complete. Keep in mind that we had to verify our account before completing the redemption.

Recently WOW Vegas also added support for gift cards. That means you can use your SC to purchase items from hundreds of different retailers. Perhaps the best part is that minimum redemption for gift cards is set at just 25 SC, which gives players even more flexibility.

Overall the process takes a little attention the first time, but it was very smooth after following instructions and understanding of how this process works.

Final Thoughts

WOW Vegas is making a lot of noise in the social casino space. The design and software is as good as it gets, fun and easy to use for both beginners and more experienced players. Though the customer service staff are not available via live chat, they answer very quickly, and when we read their replies, we got the impression that they were actually excited to help us. They weren’t just giving us cookie-cutter answers.

As far as gameplay goes, WOW Vegas is certainly one of the best for slot games. The variety of different types of slots, and the fact that they come from different software providers, means we don’t get bored playing at the site.

We got free Wow Coins and nabbed a few Sweepstakes Coins as soon as we signed up, plus more free of each every single day that we logged in. When we decided to purchase more, the payment process was nice and easy, with a good variety of methods.

Overall, WOW Vegas makes the whole experience both simple and very fun – we can’t ask for much more than that. A definite recommend in our books.
