McLuck Casino Review

McLuck is one of the biggest sweepstakes casinos in the world and an excellent platform for anyone looking to try social casinos for the first time.

McLuck launched in 2023 under the guidance of Estonian-based gaming powerhouse B2Services. The site initially started with a small but quality selection of games, but it’s since exploded and now includes over 1,000 games from high-profile developers like Pragmatic Play, 3 Oaks, and SlotMill. With table games and a full live casino, there’s very little you won’t find on the site.

The McLuck platform proved to be so popular that B2Services expanded the network with sister sites Jackpota, Hello Millions and SpinBlitz. The network is now owned and operated by the Isle of Man-based B-Two Operations Limited.

McLuck is renowned for its heavily discounted coin bundles. Some of the first-purchase specials provide over 100% in bonus coins. It’s not uncommon to receive offers for 10% or 20% off on a regular basis.

The site also offers responsive live chat support but, unfortunately, it’s hidden behind a paywall. Here’s a look at some of the most important attributes of McLuck:

There’s a considerable amount of value to be found on McLuck Casino.

Right off the bat, I received a 7,500 Gold Coins + 2 Sweepstakes Coins bonus just for signing up and providing my name, email and address. It’s always great when sweeps casinos include SC in their no-deposit bonus. It’s an excellent way to build a bankroll and try the games without spending any real money.

There are better no-deposit bonuses, however, with some sweep sites offering up to 10 SC just for signing up. The McLuck lands in the middle of the road.

As for the daily log-in bonus, McLuck offers a minimum of .20 free Sweepstakes Coins to players every day. That’s not great (some competing sites offer a flat rate of 1 SC per day). It’s a progressive program, however, and it’s possible to earn as much as 2 SC per day, depending on how many consecutive days you’ve logged in and your VIP status.

One unique promo from McLuck is the McJackpot. It’s an exclusive game where any spin of the wheel can land you a Mini, Minor, Major or Grand Gold Coin jackpots. With an effective RTP of only 50%, there are other games that offer better value.

The McLuck loyalty program is interesting and warrants special attention. The program is based on GC rather than SC play, which is somewhat surprising. That means you won’t risk any real money trying to climb the VIP ladder and adds some much-needed stakes to GC play.

mcluck loyalty program
The McLuck VIP program offers a ton of value if you can climb the ranks.

It didn’t take much play for me to unlock the bronze level (it’s just 500,000 GC played per month). I was treated to a 25% discount in a weekly coin boost deal and up to 50 in free SC every week. You can earn up to 100% coin boost and up to 1,000 in free SC weekly for the top-tier Black Diamond status.

There’s also the separate McLuck Loyalty Club, which unlocks at Ruby Status (500m GC played in a year). The VIP club provides a dedicated VIP host, monthly newsletter, welcome package and gifts and rewards.

McLuck will also VIP match certain competing sweeps casinos so it’s worth looking into it, if you’ve achieved status elsewhere.

I give the McLuck loyalty reward program high marks for appealing to players of all bankrolls and providing some serious value up top.

Finally I was periodically awarded free spins on McLuck. It was usually 2-3 spins but it was generally on popular games. It wasn’t a huge number of free spins but it’s great to get something for nothing. McLuck also runs a number of promotions on Facebook and Twitter for eagle-eyed players.

Coin Package Assessment

McLuck recently gave their welcome offers a big boost and the site now ranks in the upper echelon of first-deposit bonuses. Here is how their Gold Coin Package stacks up against other sites.

The coin bundles on McLuck are one of the main attractions.

The first-purchase bunder used to be rather mediocre but the company recently bumped it up to 150% in bonus SC, which makes it far more competitive.

In reality, the best part of the McLuck coin store has always been the reload bundles. For instance, immediately after making my first purchase I was presented with another bundle this time $19.99 for 100,000 GC + 50 SC. That’s an outstanding follow-up deal. It’s very rare to get over a reload bonus for more than 50%.

Of course, the regular McLuck store is based around the $1 = 1 SC ratio. So $10 will get you 20,000 + 10 SC. Gold Coins have slightly more value on McLuck (because they count towards VIP) so keep your eyes peeled for deals on GC.

If you’ve never played a sweeps casino before, Gold Coins are the play-money coins with no value while Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for cash prizes at a rate of 1 SC for $1 (although McLuck has a minimum redemption of 75 SC).

In summary, McLuck coin bundles are the gift that keeps giving and a strong argument for opening an account on the site.

McLuck Payments & Redemption Review

💳 Payment MethodsVisa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Trustly, Skrill
Minimum Purchase$1.99
Maximum Purchase$299.99
Minimum Redemption75 SC
Minimum Gift Card Redemption10 SC
🕐 Average Redemption Speed5-10 Days

I would rank McLuck’s options for payments and redemptions as above average.

There are a number of different options for purchasing coins including Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Skrill. You can even make purchases using your bank account via Trustly. It’s an impressive number of options for purchasing coins.

McLuck does not offer support for PayPal or crypto, but that’s not a huge loss considering its many other options.

For redemptions, McLuck is somewhat more limited. You can select a bank account, Skrill or gift cards. Bank account and Skrill both have a 75 SC minimum.

Be warned that if you go the bank account route, McLuck is known to take its time processing redemptions – up to 10 days, in fact. My first redemption on McLuck didn’t take the whole 10 days but it did take six, which is more than I would like.

Skrill is much better. It averages around 2-3 days, but it still lags behind some of the sites that offer same-day or next-day redemptions on Skrill.

You can also redeem SC for gift cards on McLuck. Gift card redemption starts at just 10 SC so it’s an excellent option for low rollers. That’s actually the lowest minimum I’ve seen on sweeps casinos. They generally take two days to process, which is unusually lengthy for gift card redemption.

You must be verified to redeem Sweepstakes Coins virtual currency on McLuck. The site uses Veriff, which I’ve had good experiences with in the past. It turns out it was a similar story on McLuck. I was verified in less than a couple of minutes on McLuck. I just used my mobile phone to scan my driver’s license and take a selfie and I was good to go.

As with all sweeps casinos, all SC must be played through at least once before redeeming it for cash prizes.

McLuck has an excellent portfolio of online casino games, including slot games from over 25 different game providers, including the megapopular Pragmatic, 3 Oaks, and Ruby Play.

There are very few games you won’t find on McLuck. Hardcore slots players can rest assured they’ll get access to legendary games like Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush and Lamp of Wonder.

McLuck goes one step further and offers exclusive versions of Fire Stampede and Gold Pigger 2.

In addition, McLuck recently added old-school slot developer Playtech, which should provide some nostalgia for long-time slot players. Games like Red Wizard and Tundra Wolf will likely warm the hearts of veteran slots fans.

mcluck old school slot
McLuck Stampede is one of the site’s many exclusive slots. It’s just as good as the original Fire Stampede by Pragmatic Play.

One of the older criticisms of McLuck’s game portfolio was that it offered little beyond slots. That’s not the case anymore, as the site has an entire social live casino by Iconic 21 and Playtech.

I could play blackjack, roulette and baccarat with real dealers in the social casino by Iconic 21. I was impressed by how much I felt like I was in Vegas while taking a turn at the tables.

Perhaps even more interesting is the recent addition of game show-style games by Playtech. It’s hard to describe these games as they feature a literal wheel and a live host. So it’s a bit like playing a giant physical version of a slot machine. I think it’s really fun and it will be interesting to see where Playtech goes with the concept.

mcluck game show style
Playtech’s fascinating game show-style offering called Adventures Beyond Wonderland. This screenshot was taken during the holiday period, which explains the costumes and set decoration.

The navigation on McLuck is also quite good. You’ll get access to the usual main feed of games in addition to a top nav bar. On the left sidebar you can click between slots and the social live casino. If all else fails you can use the top search bar to find any game you want by title.

You might think that with over 1,000 games, McLuck has everything, but some games are missing from the site. For instance, you won’t find so-called instant-win games like Crash or Miner on the site (although I wouldn’t be surprised if they are added in the near future).

One tip for playing on McLuck: It took me a while to figure out where the Recently Played and Favorite Games tabs are on the site. They are on the bottom bar to the left:

You can open a pop-up menu on the bottom left that features your recently played and favorite games.

Player Reports

Overall sentiment surrounding McLuck is fairly positive. There are a large number of reviews of the site across Trustpilot, Reddit, the App Store and Google Play Store.

TrustScore4.0 (Great)

Trustpilot TrustScore

McLuck has a very decent 4.0 TrustScore on Trustpilot, which places it in the site’s “Great” tier. That’s across over 3,903 reviews as well so it’s not exactly a small sample size.

People on Trustpilot praise McLuck’s customer service, game selection and software. People seem to love or hate the customer service.

One of the main complaints on Trustpilot is challenges regarding speedy redemptions and the overall verification process. I must say the verification process was extremely smooth for me.

For its part, McLuck has claimed its profile on Trustpilot and takes the website seriously. The company responds to 98% of negative reviews within 24 hours or less. I was struck by the quality of each response. Some sweeps casinos have robotic responses on Trustpilot, but the McLuck support staff seems a cut above.

Meanwhile, the McLuck standalone app gets strong reviews on both the App Store and Google Play store. It’s worth noting that the standalone app is GC-only, so you won’t have any reviews that address redemptions.

Finally, McLuck has two outstanding complaints on AskGamblers. It seems the company is not active on the site.

Reddit Analysis

As usual, Reddit has its fair share of users having bad luck or longer-than-expected redemptions.

Some Redditors reported an extra verification step after winning particularly large jackpots. A number of users also vouch for the site’s legitimacy.

Perhaps the biggest complaint on Reddit concerns the wait times for redemptions. The lesson seems to be that it’s important to verify your account before you attempt a redemption. If you’re verified, there’s a better chance that you’ll receive your redemption cash prize in 3-5 business days. If you’re not verified, you might be waiting more than 10 days.

However, there’s plenty of proof of big wins for McLuck. This one was by

Yes there is a McLuck App!

McLuck is one of the rare sweepstakes casinos with standalone apps on both the App Store and Google Play Store.

Both apps are remarkably fast to download and offer an impressive playing experience. The big downside? They are GC only. McLuck does have a workaround, however. A pop-up window will ask if you want to play SC. If you click yes, you’ll be transported to your internet browser, where the full version of McLuck will launch.

The in-browser version of McLuck is very solid but not perfect. Every time you launch a game, you’ll have to swipe up slightly to enter the full-screen version. I find it a bit finicky, and it sometimes disables my phone’s touch controls. For that reason, I tend to avoid going full-screen.

Overall it’s still a great way to play, although I’ll always prefer desktop. Here’s how it looks on my iPhone 15 Pro:

It might sound funny saying this – McLuck only launched in 2023 – but it’s now one of the more established sweepstakes casinos. It’s developed a strong reputation with players over the years.

B-Two Operations Limited has successfully launched more sweepstakes brands than any other company over the years and they know what they are doing. The company uses games from the top developers like Pragmatic Play, 3 Oaks and Booming Games, which all use RNGs (Random Number Generators) to ensure their games are fair.

McLuck also has a responsible gaming policy, which includes the option for self-exclusion. Unfortunately, you do have to email support to self-exclude (I prefer it when it’s just a button), but it’s good they have the option.

You won’t find an option to enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) but you can sign-in with social using Facebook, Google or Apple if you want an extra level of security.

Customer Support Experience

I had a good experience with McLuck’s customer service but there is one big caveat: You have to purchase a coin bundle before you get access to live chat support.

I believe live chat is the gold standard for support and it’s always disappointing when sweeps casinos hide it behind a paywall.

The cheapest package on McLuck is only $1.99 so I will concede it’s not exactly expensive but I still think that quality live support should be free for all players.

Fortunately, there’s also email support, and I found that they tended to respond to my questions by the next day.

Eventually, after I purchased my first coin bundle, I tested live chat support. They responded in seconds to every question I had. The support staff was helpful, if somewhat cold. Regardless, they got to the bottom of my issues. There’s also a comprehensive FAQ, which might help you avoid contacting support altogether.

I wanted to be proactive and dig deeper into McLuck’s customer support options. At the bottom of their website, I noticed three separate phone numbers for US and EU players. However, their hotline is only for payment-related questions.

At the end of the day I’m going to give McLuck a passing grade when it comes to customer support.

McLuck compares fairly well to most of its big-name competition. It’s one of the few casinos that offers full live chat support but falls a little short regarding the daily log-in bonus and overall availability.

Final Verdict

McLuck sweepstakes casino is easily one of the most successful in history.

It’s become one of the most widely recognized sweep casinos, and it has inspired a gaggle of brand-new sites, including Jackpota, PlayFame, Hello Millions, and more.

It’s very clear they are doing something right at McLuck.

From my perspective, I really appreciated the heavily discounted coin bundles on McLuck as well as the live chat support. The VIP program, which runs on GC, is also very interesting. You’ll have trouble finding those aforementioned features on any other casinos.

In terms of what could be improved, I’d really like to see McLuck remove the paywall for live chat support and offer a more competitive daily log-in bonus. I mean, .20 SC isn’t bad, but when competitors like Chumba and Stake are giving away 1 SC a day, it feels very lackluster.
