After a furious few months of action, slots play on YouTube finally took a bit of a break for the holidays.
Most of the top 10 channels received slightly reduced views as people seemed more interested in opening presents and Christmas carols.
That wasn’t the case with Vegas Matt and Lady Luck HQ who both received hefty Christmas presents (in the form of tens of thousands of subscribers).
Vegas Matt smashed the 900,000 barrier (he was up to 915k at the time of publication) and one million subscribers is firmly within reach.
Meanwhile Lady Luck HQ (who’s been winning some serious cash as of late) picked up another 26,000 subs and seems destined for 2nd place overall.
Let’s get to it.
The SlotsFan Power Rankings
The top five slots streamers on YouTube appear to have entered somewhat of a holding pattern.
December marked the second straight month where not one position changed. Vegas Matt and Lady Luck HQ are simply in a different class right now (it helps they released a video together this month).
The battle at the bottom is a little more interesting. VegasLowRoller is currently holding fifth place but has some serious momentum and might overtake NG Slot with a particularly good month.
As a reminder, the SlotsFan Power Rankings are where we break down the best performers in terms of views over the last months. I’ll get to the overall subscriber count in a moment.
1. Vegas Matt – 28.2 million views
It was a very good Christmas for Vegas Matt as his insanely popular YouTube channel surpassed 900,000 subscriptions in December.
While many channels saw a decline in views during the holidays, Vegas Matt actually received a couple million extra views compared to November and fell just short of 30 million views.
Technically Vegas Matt’s most popular video of the month was him throwing down $50,000 worth of $500 spins on Buffalo Link but I wanted to draw attention to another video.
In the last week of the month (and the year), Vegas Matt recorded $900 spins on Huff N’ Even More Puff (with $90,000 coin in). The video is already up to 546,000 views in two days and will likely become one of his most popular video videos of all time.
- Subs: 915,000 (+50,000)
- Previous Rank: 1
- Most Popular Video of the Month (859,000 views): Even More $500 Spins on Buffalo Link
2. Lady Luck HQ – 15.5 Million Views
It was another huge month for Lady Luck HQ who picked up over 26,000 new subscribers and 15.5 million views.
It came down to the wire but Lady Luck HQ surpassed 700,000 subs in the last two days of the month.
Otherwise it was business as usual. And by business as usual, I mean winning tens of thousands of dollars on Dragon Link. Her most popular video of the month, titled “The Greatest Day of My Life” certainly lived up to the hype with over $70,000 in jackpots on Dragon Link.
- Subs: 700,000 (+26,000)
- Previous Rank: 2
- Most Popular Video of the Month (301,000 views): Lady Luck HQ Crushes Dragon Link for Tens of Thousands
3. Mr. Hand Pay – 11.2 Million Views
It’s fair to say that Mr. Hand Pay is enjoying the holidays.
The popular slots streamer actually had a slow start to the month but got one heck of a present when he went to the casino on Christmas day.
Mr. Hand Pay decided to kick it old school with a bank of Triple Double Diamond Deluxe Machines. In the 30-minute video Mr. Hand Pay went on one of his best runs of all time with 10 handpays and a record $60,000 jackpot.
In the end, Mr. Hand Pay walked away with $50,000 and one his all-time best videos.
- Subs: 680,000 (+11,000)
- Previous Rank: 3
- Most Popular Video of the Month (429,000 views): Mr. Hand Pay’s Christmas Miracle
4. NG Slot – 8.6 Million Views
NG Slot is back.
A few months ago NG Slot actually got knocked out of the top five but he’s back with a vengeance.
NG Slot had himself quite a month with a record-breaking hit on Mo’ Mummy. In the video NG was firing $500 spins when he smashed a record-breaking $108,000 jackpot on Mo’ Mummy (you know it’s good when NG exclaims “Holy Broccolli!)
The majority of huge wins over the last couple months have been on Huff N’ Puff and Dragon Link so it’s nice to see Mo’ Mummy featured so prominently. Hopefully this is a trend.
- Subs: 630,000 (+14,000)
- Previous Rank: 4
- Most Popular Video of the Month (541,000): NG Slot Hits Record-Breaking Jackpot on Mo’ Mummy
5. VegasLowRoller – 6.4 Million Views
You’ve got to give it to VegasLowRoller. He’s the online YouTube streamer in the top 5 that manages to acquire huge views despite playing much lower stakes.
This month, VLR found success on Triple Treasure Pot. He talked himself into $13.50 max bets on the game and went on a wild ride that saw him initially win $700 and then donate it all back. The session wasn’t over, however, and Daniel’s persistence paid off when he finally got a triple pot explosion for over $2,000.
Another nice month for the low-stakes wonder.
- Subs: 376,000 (+3,000)
- Previous Rank: 5
- Most Popular Video of the Month (125,000 views): VegasLowRoller Goes Crazy with Max Bets on Triple Treasure Pot
Subscriber Leaderboard: Lady Luck HQ Beats the Buzzer
I already mentioned Vegas Matt cracking 900,000 subs but I want to highlight Lady Luck HQ’s last-minute rush to hit 700,000.
It took her until the last two days of 2024 to crack the vaunted 700,000 subscriber mark, but she got there. I’d expect a celebratory video in the near year (most likely on Dragon Link). Lady Luck HQ appears destined to pass Brian Christopher Slots for second place in the overall subscriber counts. I don’t see her letting up any time soon.
As for the rest of the top 10, it was pretty much business as usual with no big shake-ups. In fact, the only channel that moved up a spot was variety streamer Brettski who passed All Casino Action
Brettski doesn’t always upload a lot of videos to YouTube, but he published over 10 videos in December (including some slots action), which helped propel him to the top 10.
Here’s how the leaderboard looked at the end of 2024:
Rank | Streamer | Subs | Trend |
1. | Vegas Matt | 915,000 | – |
2. | Brian Christopher Slots | 709,000 | – |
3. | Lady Luck HQ | 700,000 | – |
4. | Mr. Hand Pay | 680,000 | – |
5. | NG Slot | 630,000 | – |
6. | The Big Jackpot | 616,000 | – |
7. | VegasLowRoller | 376,000 | – |
8. | Cowboy Slots | 318,000 | – |
9. | Pompsie Slots | 266,000 | – |
10. | Brettski | 235,000 | 1⬆︎ |
Spotlight Channel: SDGuy 1234
Is there a more underrated slot channel than SDGuy 1234?
The channel consistently crushes and is firmly in the top 20 in terms of subscribers with over 179,000 subs.
SDGuy 1234 (the SD stands for South Dakota) is one of the original slots influencers and has been creating content since the beginning of the YouTube boom. He’s got a laidback style (outside of a few clashes with casino security!) that’s attracted hundreds of millions of views over the years.
I like that SDGuy 1234 showcases a different side of slot play with a large number of casino play in the midwest rather than Vegas. It’s definitely worth checking out. You can head over to SDGuy 1234’s YouTube channel or learn more in our SDGuy 1234 profile.
Milestone Watch: Vegas Matt Takes Aim at 1M Subs
There are plenty of significant milestones on the horizon but nothing compares to Vegas Matt’s quest for one million subscribers.
Matt lit the slots world on fire in 2024 with unprecedented growth, but he’s about to join an elite group of YouTube channels with over a million subscribers.
The big question is when. It seems like a bit of a stretch for Vegas Matt to hit 1M in January (it would require 85,000 new subs) but it’s not impossible.
When Vegas Matt finally hits the vaunted 1 million subscriber mark, he’s got designs on an epic video to celebrate. He’s not spilling the beans yet, but he has made references to a coin-in of $100,000 and $1,000 spins.
Here’s a look at some of the other channels that are nearing milestones:
- Vegas Matt – 911,000
- Brettski – 247,000
- Slot Hopper – 94,300
- Raja Slots – 94,000
- The Good Life 88 – 24,200
- Slot Shimmers – 9,960
- Feelin’ Lucky Slots – 4,980
