Does Stake.us live up to the hype? I’m happy to report that Stake.us – despite the overwhelming amount of advertising – is a rock-solid sweepstakes casino. For those who have been living under a rock, Stake.us is a sweepstakes casino for US players. The rest of the world gets access to Stake.com, which is one of the biggest gambling sites in the world according to some metrics.

Stake.us is a powerhouse in its own right with a staggering number of games (over 1,050 slots from Pragmatic, EvoPlay and many others), exceptional customer support, reliable software, generous rewards and fast payouts. The one major downside? Stake.us is crypto only, which will be a significant barrier for certain players looking for a real money (fiat) online casino.

We independently review every casino on this site and may be compensated if you play at a casino through one of our links. Learn More.

Stake.us Social Casino Overview

Stake is the 800-pound gorilla in the online gambling world.

The company’s main site – Stake.com – is one of the biggest gambling companies in the world with billions of dollars in revenue and partnerships with the likes of F1, UFC, Everton Football Club and rapper Drake.

Stake.com is not available to Americans, however, but fortunately Stake.us (which uses a sweepstakes model) is here to fill the void.

It’s clear that Stake.us benefits from its big sister with a nearly unmatched game library combined with lightning fast customer support and payouts.

You’ll find over 1,050 different slot games on the site from every major developer, including Pragmatic Play, EvoPlay and Fantasma, but it also offers tons of in-house developed games that are surprisingly good.

What’s more, Stake.us offers one of the biggest assortments of non-slot games including every table game you could think of (baccarat, blackjack, sic bo and others), instant-win games and more. It even features a fully functioning poker client, which is a first for a sweeps casino.

It should be noted that Stake.us is crypto-only. That means you’ll need a crypto wallet to interact with the site and you’re out of luck if you want to use Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or any other payment processor.

Here’s a cheat sheet for some of the important figures behind Stake.us:

Stake.us is only available in the USA (the rest of the world gets access to Stake.com, however). In addition there are a number of states that are excluded from playing on Stake.us:

  • Washington
  • New York
  • Nevada
  • Idaho
  • Kentucky
  • Michigan
  • Vermont

The list of excluded states on Stake.us is somewhat unusual compared to most states. Usually sweeps play is accepted in New York and Vermont but that’s not the case on Stake.us.

Bonuses & Promotions Available

Bonuses and promotions are a bit hit-and-miss on Stake.us with some highs and lows. Here’s a look at the basics:

BonusDetails
No Deposit BonusN/A
Welcome Offer$20 for 200,000 GC + 20.05 SC

Other Promos & OffersMonthly bonus, challenges, tournaments, raffles and races

You’ll notice that Stake.us does not provide a huge assortment of coins up front. In fact, if you sign up without a bonus code then you’ll receive zero. That’s right, you’ll receive nothing to get started on the site.

Fortunately you can immediately hit your wallet and get a Daily Log-in Bonus and top up your gold coins to get access to 10,000 Gold Coins and 1 Stake Coins.

Stake.us daily giveaway
The Stake.us Daily giveaway is very substantial at 10,000 GC + 1 SC.

The Daily Log-in Bonus from Stake.us is generous but it’s somewhat striking that you don’t get any coins just for signing up. But there is a big difference with Stake.us. If you use a promo code you can get as much as 25 in free Stake Cash, which is far better than anything you’ll find on competing sites. It is more work finding those bonus codes so your mileage may vary.

Note: You’ll have to click the wallet icon at the top center and then click Daily Bonus to access this field.

Stake.us is very solid in nearly every other aspect of bonuses and promos. Users get a substantial 1 SC just for logging in every day (which makes it one of the industry leaders).

You can also mail in handwritten letters to receive 5 SC per envelope, although this takes some time. Stake.us is also very active on social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, Telegram) and they frequently offer free SC via drops. There are also raffles, challenges and races to consider.

Stake.us offers a unique monthly bonus that gives users rakeback depending on their VIP level.

It takes some effort (and serious cash) to move up the VIP program but the rewards are significant. You can unlock rakeback, upgraded daily bonuses, a dedicated live support agent and more.

Here’s what you’ll need to play in SC to unlock each level:

  • Bronze: 10,000 SC
  • Silver & Gold: 50,000 / 100,000 SC
  • Platinum I, II, & III: 250,000 / 500,000 / 1,000,000 SC
  • Platinum IV, V & VI: 2,500,000 / 5,000,000 / 10,000,000 SC
  • Diamond I, II, III & IV: 25,000,000 / 50,000,000 / 100,000,000 / 250,000,000 SC
  • Diamond V: 500,000,000 SC
  • Obsidian: 1,000,000,000 SC

Coin Package Assessment

Stake.us coin package
The $30 pack in the Stake.us store notably does not include free SC, so I’d skip that one.

Stake.us doesn’t offer welcome coin packages in the traditional sense.

Instead of getting an oversized value on the first coin bundles you buy on the site, you can actually get a significant amount of coins just for using a bonus code.

You can hunt around on the Internet and find a variety of different codes. I used the SlotsFan code to get 250,000 and 25 SC. That’s an amazing deal, considering I didn’t even have to make a purchase.

I did have to wait a couple of days before the SC was added to my account, but it wasn’t a huge deal. One thing you’ll want to remember, however, is that you only have 24 hours after signing up to enter your bonus code, so make sure you do it right away.

Stake.us bonus code
This is where you enter your bonus code upon sign-up. To access it you have to use the left side bar and then click profile>settings>offers. This is also where you redeem bonus drops from Twitter or Telegram.

Once you’ve received your welcome bonus, you’ll notice that all the coin packages are offered in a strict 1:1 ratio with SC and USD.

For instance, $20 gets you 200,000 GC and 20 SC.

As with all sweeps casinos, Gold Coins are free-to-play currency that have no value, while Sweeps Coins (Or Stake Cash) can be traded for cash at a 1 Stake Cash = $1 rate.

You get a slight bonus for buying the bigger bundles on Stake.us but it’s negligible. The biggest bundle (at $300) only provides an extra .75 in Stake so I wouldn’t sweat that one.

Because of its unique pricing structure, it’s difficult to compare Stake.us to other sweeps casinos when it comes to welcome bundles.

The site uses a bonus system where the bundle is 100% free and you don’t have to make a purchase. It’s a great deal but difficult to compare to competing sites where they offer significant bonus rates on first purchases. I just used a regular $20 Stake.us bundle to compare below:

Stake.us Payments & Redemption Review

Average Redemption Speed10-15 minutes

Stake.us is unique in terms of payment methods. It is 100% crypto, so you will not find traditional payment processors like Visa, Mastercard, debit cards, or alternative apps like PayPal, Apple Cash, or Google Pay on Stake.us.

There are pros and cons to using crypto as the primary (and only) payment system.

Let’s start with the positive of using crypto for sweeps play:

  • Purchases and redemptions on Stake.us are much faster than competitors
  • Stake.us supports a large variety of different cryptocurrencies
  • You don’t need a bank account
  • You can leave your winnings in crypto if you want to speculate on the price of crypto.

Now the cons of using crypto for sweeps:

  • Requires basic knowledge of virtual currencies
  • There’s an extra step for getting actual USD in your account
  • It’s possible to lose coins if you send to the wrong address
Stake.us payment method

For my purposes I actually enjoy when casinos use crypto as I find the purchases and redemptions tend to process faster but I will admit not everyone is going to be interested in setting up a crypto wallet.

It helps that Stake.us supports an impressive number of cryptocurrencies (nearly 20) including the following:

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Litecoin
  • USDT
  • USDC
  • Solana
  • Polygon
  • Binance Coin
  • Dogecoin
  • Ripple

I personally used Solana because of the cheap transfer fees (I think I paid about $.04). I would actually recommend using the stablecoins on offer (USDT, USDC) so you don’t have to worry about the value of your coins rapidly decreasing after you transfer to a personal wallet.

It can’t be overstated how much faster cash prize redemptions are on Stake.us compared to competitors. I received a payout in less than 30 seconds using Solana (SOL), whereas on competing sites, I’ve had to wait weeks.

You just need to punch in the address of your crypto wallet, confirm by email and your crypto will be in your wallet in short order:

A redemption using cryptocurrency on Stake.us.

A redemption of 110.19 SC on Stake.us casino. Note that redemptions using the CashApp wallet are not currently supported on Stake.us.

The downside (or upside, depending on how you look at it) is that you’ll end up with crypto, not US dollars, from redemptions. You can transfer your crypto to a crypto exchange or app like PayPal or Cash App to sell it for cash, but it’s an extra step.

Stake.us is so packed with casino games that it’s almost overwhelming.

The site is currently home to over 1,050 different slots, which is in contention for the most we’ve ever seen on a social casino.

Not only is Stake.us home to the best slot developers in the world – including Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, EvoPlay and Fantasma Gaming – but it also has a large number of Stake Originals.

The games designed by Stake have a unique aesthetic (I’d call it minimalist) but I actually quite liked them. I spent some time on Blue Samurai and Tom of Life and had a great time. Oddly the games are somewhat relaxing.

Stake.us stake originals
Stake Originals are part of the reason to play on Stake.us. I enjoyed Tom of Life and Blue Samurai. Plinko is fun too.

Stake.us is also home to a ton of original games from developers like Pragmatic Play and Titan Gaming. Most of the games are simply RTP-enhanced (which is a good thing) but there are a few completely new titles like Jeff’s Gems and Clash of Fangs. At the time I reviewed Stake.us there were 30 exclusive games.

I mentioned before that it’s almost overwhelming how many games there are on Stake.us but I’m happy to report that navigation is relatively good on the site. There’s a ubiquitous search bar on nearly every page on the site so that’s the best way to find a specific game.

The sidebar on the left is pretty helpful as well. It starts with Favorites and Recent tabs. The Recent tab actually goes one step further than most sweeps sites and gives you statistics about your last session playing a particular game.

The main slot tab lets you filter by provider, popularity, featured, A-Z or Z-A. It’s great.

One feature I really like about Stake.us is that you can see who’s playing what. It’s a great way to find popular games that you may have missed. For instance when I logged on I saw that 788 people were playing Duel at Dawn (by Hacksaw). Somehow I missed this gem of a game.

You can also see live stats while playing, which is really interesting to say the least.

Stake.us rtp
The RTP enhanced version of Gates of Heaven by Pragmatic Play. This is an exclusive on Stake.us.

It’s not just slots where Stake.us impresses. It’s also home to one of the most full-featured casinos you’ll find on a sweeps site.

Stake.us is the only sweeps site that offers a fully functioning online poker client directly in the casino.

I was all too happy to use some of my Stake.us slot winnings to play a few hands of No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha.

Stake.us sweepstakes casino
Stake.us is the only sweepstakes casino with a complete poker client.

You’ll find plenty of the same games you’d find in a real casino including the following:

  • Bacarrat
  • Blackjack
  • Sic Bo
  • Hi Lo
  • Roulette
  • Stake Poker

Stake.us is also home to many alternatives to slots such as the following:

  • Scratch cards
  • Plinko
  • Crash games
  • Instant win
  • Dice
  • Mines

Overall the Stake software runs very well despite the massive assortment of games and features. I ran into a few glitches but nothing you wouldn’t find on competing sites.

Finally Stake.us has a central chat on the main page. I always find it fascinating when sites offer this functionality when the majority of the comments tend to be of the extremely toxic variety. Of course you can always turn it off.

Player Reports

As one of the biggest sweeps casinos, there are plenty of player reports about Stake.us:

TrustPilot TrustScore

Stake.us has one of the most impressive TrustScores I’ve ever seen for a sweeps casino.

The company has 4.5 stars over a staggering 5,137 reviews. There are other sweeps casinos with equally high scores but I’m not sure they have as large a sample size.

Reviewers on TrustPilot praise the fast and comprehensive customer support, VIP program, easy crypto payouts and the diverse selection of games (including Stake Originals and poker). There are a large number of reviews that refer to Stake.us as the best sweeps casino currently available.

On the other hand some of the criticisms of Stake.us include issues with redemptions, problems claiming codes and some overall software glitches. Some reviewers also felt the VIP program was designed exclusively for high rollers.

Stake.us has excellent reviews on TrustPilot but it doesn’t have any presence on the other major review platforms. It does not have a profile on AskGamblers and because there is no standalone app you won’t find reviews on the App Store or Google Play.

Reddit Analysis

Stake.us (and Stake.com) are extremely popular topics of discussion on Reddit and we analyzed over 170 different posts to get an idea of what people are saying about Stake.us.

First off both Stake.us and Stake.com have standalone subreddits with tens of thousands of members. The subreddits are mostly people discussing their biggest wins on Stake.us and their favorite games. You’ll also come across the occasional code drop.

The rest of the threads regarding Stake.us are somewhat mixed compared to the TrustPilot reviews. There are a large number of players who are frustrated with their luck or take issue with customer support.

Because Stake.us uses crypto for payments, there are plenty of threads discussing crypto. Some Redditors suggest using a standalone wallet as a middleman instead of sending directly to an exchange like Coinbase or Kraken. But even that is up for debate:

u/Emotional-Loan2795

Make sure you don’t send directly to coinbase, they will terminate your account, must sent to wallet first

Most users praised the fast redemptions for crypto (usually 10-15 minutes at most). The following post seemed to be one of the more honest reviews with first-hand experience:

Mobile Apps & Play

  Stake.us Casino App Availability
iOS (Apple)
Google Play (Android)

You won’t find any standalone mobile apps for Stake.us but that’s not really a problem.

You can open Stake.us on your mobile browser and access the full suite of games on any device.

The software works fairly well and it’s a great way to play. Every slot game I opened ran well (although I did notice my device would get a little hot after playing for a significant amount of time).

It was a little more challenging playing the table games (especially poker) but it was still a decent experience if you don’t have any other options.

I did find the navigation somewhat confusing. I expected the “games” tab to show my recently played games but it’s actually just a feed of results across the casino. Not very helpful. Fortunately you can use the browse tab to find everything you need. The “casino” tab also offers a quick-start to the last game you played.

Here’s a look at Stake.us running on my iPhone 14 Pro:

Stake.us Security & Safety

Is Stake.us Safe? ✅

Website Security Certificate (SSL)Let’s Encrypt

Stake.us is registered in Cyprus, which might give some players reservations (most sweeps casinos are registered in Malta, Isle of Man or the USA) but it uses a ton of different security measures that made me feel more comfortable.

First off, Stake.us is one of the more transparent sweeps casinos and you can see the results of every game you’ve played (sometimes in real time). In fact you can see the results of everybody on the site via the main feed.

Second of all, Stake.us not only offers 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) but heavily incentivizes players to use it. If you don’t have 2FA enabled, then you will be forced to confirm every log-in via email. The site also informs you whenever you start a new session on a different device.

Stake.us is owned and operated by Sweepsteaks Limited, registration number HE436222, in Cyprus but it also has a US address for sending sweeps envelopes:

Sweepsteaks Limited 13101 Preston RD STE 110-5027 Dallas, TX 75240

Stake.us also has a comprehensive responsible gaming policy that includes resources for problem gamblers and several tools for self-exclusion.

Finally, Stake.us has partnership deals with massive brands like the UFC, F1 and Everton FC. This doesn’t mean anything specific for security but it’s a fairly good sign for the long-term viability of the site.

Here’s a look at the live stat feature from Stake.us:

Stake.us live stat

Customer Support Experience

Customer support was another area where I thought that Stake.us performed extremely well.

Stake.us offers support through FAQ, email and live chat. There’s no phone support at this point.

Live chat is my preferred method for customer support and the Stake.us live chat support is excellent.

They advertise responding in less than a minute on most occasions and I found that to be true every time I contacted them.

I found the customer support team to be fast, helpful and friendly but they weren’t always able to get to the bottom of my issues. A couple times they had to refer me to the tech team over some software problems I was having. Both times the tech team responded in a couple hours and were able to fix my issue.

Overall customer support is excellent on Stake.us and it’s clear the company has invested significantly in this area.

Final Verdict:

I went into this review skeptical that Stake.us could live up to the considerable accolades it has received from the sweeps community, but I came away impressed.

Stake.us knocks it out of the park when it comes to the features that slots players care about the most.

Consider that Stake.us offers more games than almost any other sweeps casino, extremely fast payouts, generous promos and responsible customer support.

It’s clear that Stake.us is built on a global platform with backing that far exceeds some of the smaller sweeps casinos.

The elephant in the room, however, is that Stake.us is crypto only. If you have no desire or ability to settle payments in crypto then Stake.us is simply not for you. It would be fantastic if the site would at least offer support for apps like Apple Pay or Google Pay but that doesn’t seem to be in the works.
