SweepSlots Social Casino Overview

SweepSlots is an independent sweepstakes casino that’s built some momentum over the years thanks to its growing selection of games and innovative promos including the daily Lucky Spin. The site has attracted some of the most talented slot developers including Pragmatic Play, Revolver Gaming, and EvoPlay. It’s also owned and operated in the USA.

Let’s dig into this sweepstakes site and jump into my review.

The site, owned and operated by Delaware-based Regal Technologies LLC, is unusual in that it doesn’t share a software platform with any other site. It originally launched with a minuscule number of games (under 30), but it’s been building out its portfolio rapidly over the last year, and there are now hundreds of slots available from developers like Pragmatic, Booming, and 3 Oaks.

There are a few different features that make SweepSlots stand out compared to other sweeps sites. SweepSlots is one of the only social casinos that offer both a daily log-in bonus for players and a wheel spin game. The site also accepts an unusually large number of payment types, with support for credit cards, debit cards, Skrill, and crypto.

SweepSlots recently updated its welcome offer (also known as no-deposit bonus) to make it more competitive with the rest of the industry.

I received 5,000 GC + 5 SC no-deposit bonus just for signing up. That’s very decent considering all I had to do was provide my email, address and create a password. No promo code is needed to get this sign up deal.

Almost every sweeps casino offers a daily log-in bonus where users get some amount of SC for free every day just for logging in. There are also sites (such as FortuneWheelz) that offer a spin on a wheel where you have a chance to win SC.

SweepSlots is highly unusual in that it provides a daily log-in bonus AND a wheel for a free spin.

Here’s how it works. I received a modest amount of SC for logging in every day (.25 SC) but I was then given a turn on the Lucky Spin wheel. You can win up to 5 SC on Lucky Spin, meaning you could walk away with 5.25 SC just for logging in to SweepSlots daily.

sweepslots lucky spin prize
The famous SweepSlots Lucky Spin. Note you can win up to 5 SC but there are quite a few slices with no SC at all.

I found the reality of SweepSlots Lucky Spin far more unforgiving. I once went an astounding 10 days without getting any SC at all. I’m no mathematician but there are 8 slices in total and three offer SC prizes. I should have been getting SC roughly 37% of the time. There’s a chance I was just extremely unlucky but I didn’t find that my luck improved much in the following weeks either. That’s part of the reason I much prefer the static daily log-in bonus.

SweepSlots also offers a VIP program with eight status tiers from Opulent Bronze to Regal Mithril. Ascend this loyalty program and you’ll get access to a variety of perks including the following:

  • Discounted coin offers via email
  • Point multipliers
  • Bonuses for consecutive daily log-ins
  • Weekly coin reloads
  • Free gifts like Rolexes, Louis Vuitton bags and international trips (highest tier only)

Finally, SweepSlots likes to award promos on social media. I noticed the brand was particularly active on Instagram and I even scored a small amount of SC by checking their posts frequently.

Coin Package Assessment

SweepSlots recently upgraded their first-purchase offer and it now ranks near the top of available deals on sweeps casinos. Here is how it’s Gold Coin packages compare to other sites:

SweepSlots$15500,0002033% SC
Funrize$20700,0002630% SC
High 5 Casino$161002025% SC

I received 500,000 Gold Coins and 40 free Sweeps Coins for my $20 coin package. It’s definitely a very competitive deal and represents a 100% casino bonus in SC.

The rest of the SweepSlots coin store follows the standard sweeps format. The packages are more or less based on the $1 = 1 SC format. So for instance I can purchase a $10 bundle and it awards 220,000 GC and 10 SC. As with all sweeps casinos, Gold Coins have no cash value, and amounts are arbitrary. Meanwhile, SC can be redeemed for cash prizes at a 1:1 ratio with dollars.

I did notice the top-end coin bundles on SweepSlots offered a little extra value (in the 4-5% range). It’s not much, but it’s better than some sites that offer absolutely no bonuses for their most expensive bundles.

sweepslots coin package
The SweepSlots coin store. Note the two most expensive coin packages are a marginally better deal.

Outside of the welcome bonus, I didn’t find many interesting packages. Once I signed up for the SweepSlots email list, I did get sent occasional deals that were 10%, 20%, or even 40% off on special occasions.

Players on SweepSlots are spoiled by a variety of different payment options.

The site supports the usual Visa and Mastercard credit cards (and debit cards), but it also offers Skrill, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cryptocurrency. That’s a huge amount of options.

It’s particularly noteworthy that SweepSlots supports both credit cards and crypto. Many of the sweeps casinos that support crypto do business entirely in crypto for both payments and redemptions. Whether you use crypto or not, having that kind of flexibility is useful.

It’s not just one or two cryptos either, SweepSlots supports 29 different types of crypto including the following:

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • USDC
  • USDT
  • Solana
  • Doge
  • Litecoin

I like transacting in stablecoins like USDC or USDT so I don’t have to deal with the constant swings involved with most cryptocurrencies.

SweepSlots is much more limited when it comes to redemptions. There’s a minimum of 100 SC when it comes to redemptions and you are limited to bank transfer and debit card for withdrawals.

I had a feeling of dread when making my first redemption as I’ve heard that SweepSlots takes its time to process redemptions. In fact I’ve heard redemptions can take as long as 10 days on SweepSlots.

My suspicions were confirmed when it took nine business days to receive my first 100 SC redemption. To be honest, that’s awful. SweepSlots needs to do better, especially when competitors are processing redemptions in 1-2 days (some sweeps sites even have nearly instant redemptions).

In their defense I did use bank transfer for redemption so I’ll have to wait until my next winning session to try the debit card method for redemption.

SweepSlots has a nice selection of slots but there are some holes in their library.

First the good: SweepSlots has worked hard to improve its selection of slots and you’ll now find some of the biggest games from Pragmatic Play, Revolver Gaming and Booming Games.

That means I got to enjoy the likes of Gates of Olympus 1000, Parrots of the Caribbean, Eldritch Dungeon, Sugar Rush and more. It’s really impressive how many games SweepSlots has added and the slots catalog is now deceptively large on the site.

There were quite a few games I wasn’t familiar with, including the atmospheric Night Wolf from Jini Studios.

sweepslots small game
Jini Studios is a much smaller game developer but I like what they are doing with Night Wolf.

You’ll find more than just slots on SweepSlots. There are a large number of instant-win games from Gaming Corps, EvoPlay, and Booming Games, including miner, crash, Plinko, and even racing games.

Sadly, live dealer games are not available on the site.

It’s a great selection of games if you need something other than just slots.

sweepslots video games inspired
The instant-win game Adrenaline Rush by EvoPlay is clearly inspired by arcade video games.

While SweepSlots offers a large number of instant-win arcade games, it is much more limited when it comes to traditional casino-style games.

I found blackjack, but that was pretty much the extent of the table games on SweepSlots. It’s a big void, considering many competing sites have complete live casinos with real dealers.

Unfortunately, SweepSlots’s navigation leaves much to be desired. It lacks many filters and toggles available on competing online casino sites.

For the life of me I couldn’t find a section for recently played games and there appears to be no one to favorite games. Those are two extremely important features for navigating a sweeps casinos and I missed them dearly. Fortunately it does have a search function if you can remember the title of the game you are searching for.

It’s simply not an easy site to navigate and it made me miss some of the software platforms available on competing sites.

Trustpilot TrustScore

SweepSlots has middling reviews on Trustpilot. The company has a 3.3 out of 5 stars for its TrustScore, which puts it firmly in the “average” category. There were just under 1,000 reviews at the time I reviewed SweepSlots, which is a relatively low sample size.

On the positive side people enjoy the game selection on SweepSlots. I agree with this sentiment. There’s very little missing when it comes to enjoyable slot games on SweepSlots. Reviewers also enjoyed the bonuses on the site like the daily Lucky Spin.

Now, getting to the negative side of things: it’s clear people absolutely detest the lengthy redemption process on SweepSlots. It’s not just the time it takes for the redemption to clear, either. Numerous people have had bad experiences with customer service when it came to making a redemption.

At least SweepSlots has claimed their profile on Trustpilot. Unfortunately, the company only responds to 41% of negative reviews and takes around a week to respond.

SweepSlots is not in either of the app stores or on AskGamblers.

Reddit Analysis

I analyzed the 20+ posts about SweepSlots on Reddit and the overall sentiment leans towards negative with some bright spots.

Once again the #1 issue on the site for most players is the extremely long redemption times. Considering many sweeps sites only take a day or two to process a redemption, it’s very unfortunate that SweepSlots can take weeks.

Some users also complained about the site’s lack of bonuses and promotions. On the bright side, plenty of users confirmed successful redemptions (but each one took a considerable amount of time).

In the following post, u/tastebuddys explained that it took months to make a successful redemption on SweepSlots.

In the next highlighted post from Reddit, u/Bmann3396 argued there is simply no reason to use SweepSlots due to lackluster bonuses and promotions. I think that might be changing for the better but I understand the feeling.

📱Mobile Apps & Play

Operating System App Availability
iOS (Apple)N/A
Google Play (Android)N/A

Like most sweeps casinos, SweepSlots decided to skip the standalone casino app for a browser-based client that is optimized for  mobile devices including Android and Apple, smart phones and tablets.

I prefer when sweeps casinos take this approach as it makes the entire process seamless and your account carries over. The only issue is logging in for the first time on mobile (Sign in with Google is very handy for that purpose). Unfortunately, I had a long username and password, so entering on my iPhone 15 Pro took some time. Once I signed in I just had Apple save my log-in credentials, which made subsequent log-ins much easier.

The playing experience on mobile was very solid. It’s easy to pick up your daily log-in bonus and play Lucky Spin on mobile.

Navigation might be even better on mobile as there’s an easy-to-understand nav bar on the bottom that includes a menu, rewards, lobby, redemptions and store.

Unfortunately, the lack of a Recently Played and Favorites category is felt even more on mobile. I had trouble finding recently played online slots because I couldn’t remember the exact title.

Here’s what SweepSlots looks like on my iPhone 15 Pro:

Pho Sho is one of my favorite games, and I was happy to see that SweepSlots offers it. It also plays great on a mobile browser.

The general consensus on SweepSlots is that it’s safe but you should be ready to wait a long period of time for redemptions.

The site has been in operation since 2021, which makes it one of the older sweeps casinos. The company behind SweepSlots previously had experience in local LAN-based gaming.

In recent years, SweepSlots has made an effort to partner with high-quality game developers like Pragmatic Play and EvoPlay, which is a considerable vote of confidence for the site.

SweepSlots offers a comprehensive responsible gaming policy. There are a number of tools for problem gamblers including the following:

  • Self-exclusion
  • Purchase Limits
  • Play Limits
  • Time Limits

Unfortunately, players have to email support for self-exclusion or any other limits. I prefer it when there’s a button you can toggle on, which makes it easier for problem gamblers to get help.

Customer Support Experience

Customer support on SweepSlots is limited to an email-based ticket system and FAQ. Phone support is also available, but it’s limited to issues regarding payments.

I had several questions when playing on SweepSlots and I found that it always took about a day for the support staff to respond.

I found the overall quality of the response to be on the low side. Several times, the staff had trouble answering my question succinctly, and I noticed several spelling errors in the response. Half the time it felt like they just wanted to close out my ticket as fast as possible. However, I was able to get to the bottom of my issues with some follow-up questions.

Overall I’d rank customer support on SweepSlots as below average. It’s not the worst customer support I’ve encountered but it’s far from the best.

Final Verdict

The site has a number of positives. SweepSlots is the only site I’ve seen that incentivizes players with a daily log-in bonus AND a ticket for their Lucky Spin wheel. The site also has a very strong no-deposit bonus that you could parlay into a real money payout.

That said, that have been a few complaints about redemption times on SweepSlots. At the very least, sweepstakes sites should try and process redemptions as quickly as possible to ensure goodwill with the players that support them.

The site also recently upgraded its game catalog. It now carries some of the best slot games in the world from Pragmatic Play, EvoPlay, and more. The navigation is less-than-stellar and on-going promotions could use some work.

I’ll be watching SweepSlots closely to see if the crew can take the site to the next level!
